The fact that these guys have made wiring a car entertaining at all is a massive achievement. I might actually be a little sad when the thing is finally done in 4 more years

I was watching it last night while wife was face deep in facebook on her phone and sometimes glanced up.
Their intro goes something like... we didn’t think anyone would find wiring entertaining but apparently many of you did and thats a good thing because today we have more wiring.
I go - YESSSSS to prank wife. It worked. She gave me side eye.

I watched all the way through and now I feel like a bum. Although, I didn’t go to school for this stuff.

School is overrated anyway. Best way to learn is to acquire desire to learn to do something and then get your hands dirty.

What they did in that video would have taken me all summer, and it would look like hell. not to say that I couldn’t do it. So I’d say school helps a fair bit. The machining? Forget it.

They plan... a lot. If you and I planned that much, our work would also come out. However we are much too lazy for all that.
